Axis Toys in conjunction with Australian designer Lou Trevitt has launched the ColourAway colouring-in poster range.
The new Australian-made range launched at retail in September with two with fantasy designs that will offer hours of colouring in and encourage storytelling. Each poster kit includes an A1 poster and 12 Scribbla brushstroke pens. The funky packaging makes the artwork designs the heroes so they can be easily seen and selected by customers.
Each A1 poster is printed on 170gsm FSC certified paper and comes with 12 trend-inspired brush-stroke pens. ColourAway posters offer a breath-taking amount of detail that will provide hours of enjoyment, while the pens offer users a wonderful colour scheme..
Enjoy the magic of Magician's Daughter, a drawing that combines Lou Trevitt's love of storytelling and the mystical realms – sure to keep a belief in fairies alive.
“This poster will take you through the realms of the night forest guided by the Moon and the powerful energy of the owl,” Trevitt says.
The In a Native Garden design is a wonderful combination of native Australian flora and fantasy butterflies. “For me, this garden embodies the heart and my love for nature and the butterflies symbolise transformation. I love the incredible forms found in nature, especially our native flora – so delicate and yet so strong and resiliant,” Trevitt says.
“I hope that you step inside these drawings and they take you colouring away to a relaxing and peaceful place.”

The new Småland dolls' house offers plenty of space for playing both indoors and out, and can easily be expanded with another floor and a lovely summer or winter garden.
Interior designers Ann Morsing and Beban Nord of Box Design in Stockholm have ensured this famous doll’s house combines Lundby Småland's classic look with a new open floor plan. This new model also features rooms that are prepared for electricity, and all windows and the balcony doors can be opened.
Not only does the new model of Småland feature a remote-control lighting system, a feature sure to impress is the new TV and music unit accessory that includes a built-in Bluetooth speaker.
The interior decoration was created in cooperation with Swedish wallpaper design firm Sandberg, which gives the walls a romantic yet modern look due to patterns and colours that nod to the past but look to the future.

Lundby’s interior designers, Box Design, have worked with Sandberg AB, a traditional Swedish wallpaper company, to develop a range of wallpapers that off the new doll’s house a romantic yet contemporary look by combining fantastic patterns and lovely tones.
What does the future hold for Lundby?
The future is here as Småland now also includes a high tech 4D experience! Not only does the new house feature a Remote Control Lighting System – shaped like the house with a button to represent each room – which operates its unique 4.5 volt child-safe lighting system, but also a new TV and Music unit set with a built-in Bluetooth speaker. Sydney-based distributor, Axis Toys has been appointed the exclusive distributor of craft and games ranges created by Spanish manufacturer Cayro.
Cayro has been a manufacturer in the toy industry since 1954, originally known for producing game parts, but has gone on to develop its own ranges in other categories. Under the terms of this new agreement, the Cayro brand will make its Australian debut.
“As a European distributor of Miniland and World Wildlife Fund (WWF), Cayro has strong ties with those companies and they sought us out because we distribute those brands here too," said Paula Opfer, Axis Toys director.
“The range is of high quality and is really well packaged; the price point is good; the supplier is professional; and their range was a perfect fit for our needs. The modern or classic feel their designers have given to traditional games and crafts is very refreshing; it ticked all our boxes and made going into business with them a very easy decision.”

Axis Toys appointed exclusive distributor of Cayro games
Wholesaler Axis Toys is bringing the Cayro range of games to Australia for the first time, after being sought out by the Spanish company.
According to managing director Paula Opfer, it was a natural step to add Cayro to Axis Toys’ growing portfolio. “They sought us out because we distribute Miniland and WWF which they also have strong ties with,” she explains. “It was a very easy decision and ticked all our boxes.
“The range is of high quality and really well packaged, the price point is good, the supplier is professional and their range was a perfect fit with our needs as it took traditional games and crafts and provided a modern or classic feel that‘s very refreshing.”
Axis Toys will be distributing items from Cayro’s toy range—which has been its core business since 1954—and its more recent craft range. Opfer says Cayro will be a good addition to the Axis portfolio as the company’s craft and games ranges both needed to be developed.
“We launched the range online last week and the response and feedback has already been beyond our expectations, which is a wonderful start to 2015,” she says.
The Cayro range will be on display at the Sydney Home & Giving Fair this month, along with a new collection of the popular German Gotz dolls. “There are over 35 new dolls in the range this year and we’re launching with 22 dolls from early April and the balance from August. What makes this year’s range even more exciting is that Gotz has a new fashion designer so the clothing is even more fun, colourful and stylish.”
Also on display will be a range of snow sledges from Finnish manufacturer Plasto, perfect for Australian children hitting the slopes. “I think it’s a fun addition to our range and although we have a limited ski season, it provides a first time must have snow experience to the kids at the slopes just like in Europe.”
The sleds will be available from early March.

Axis Toys, on stand I15 at Toy Fair, is delighted announce it has been appointed the exclusive Australian distributor of Polish eco brand, Wooden Story
The Wooden Story range of traditional, beautifully-made wooden early learning toys come in both natural and stained woods. The toys are made from FSC-certified wood and use only eco-certified paints. Each piece is finished with beeswax and botanical oils to give it a soft feel to the and, a polished finish and to imbue each piece with the natural smell of wood.
